Mr Lissaman, who has been in Te Kuiti some time arranging to start business as a chemist, has at length got his premises in order for doinir business. Mr Lissaman was able to secure the shop recently in the occupation of Mr J. McNaught, saddler, in Rora Street, and the necessary alterations have just been completed. A meeting of bowling enthusiasts was held at Te Kuiti on Saturday evening last, when it was decided to form a club. Excellent support has been promised to the game, and a ground has been secured on Mr Somerville's property. Messrs Boddie, Lissaman, and Forsyth were appointed trustees for the ground, which will be cot in order as soon as possible. A meeting is to be held on Friday evening for the purpose of electing officers. A replace advertisement will appear in next issue drawing attention to the agency for Beale Sewing Machines, which Jones Prosser haß the agency lor. A sample machine is on view in his window, and a closer inspection is asked for and instructions as to its workings gives Mrs Prosser pleasure.
