On Monday evening last the K.ceganNightingale' Dramatic Company presented the Military drama, "The Roll of the Drum" to a crowded audience m the Te Kuiti Hall, and in every respect sent away their patrons well satisfied wtih the evening's entertainment. On every hand they were congratulated on the staging effects, particularly in view of the very limited and unsuitable stage appointments. The different characters were well sustained, and the return of the Company will be looked forward to in the near future, and plenty of scope will be offered in the new hall to display the ability the Company undoubtedly posseesses.
