FOOTBALL.
On September sth the Hamilton repesenlatives are programmed to meet Waipa at Te Awamutu in their return game of the season. In the first contest Waipa. emerged victorious by six points to three, after a very hard game. It is, therefore, expected that the next game will be quite in keeping with the first, and given fine weather, there should be a record crowd to witness the contest. On the same day the Hamilton junior "reps" will try conclusions with the Waipa juniors, who, although badly beaten by Hamilton earlier in the season hope to do much better on the next occasion. Good luck to Waipa.
The senior competition at Waipa, has been won by Kihi Kihi whose standard could not be once lowered during the two rounds played. The members of the team trained for their matches, and demonstrated clearly what can be done on the football field by good preliminary training and concerted movements. The .personnel of the team remained practically unchanged throughout the season another decided advantage when once the players learn the lesson of combined effort. To celebrate their win the Kihi Kihi Club held & social on Wednesday night last which proved a great success.
