Writing to the Melbourne "Leader" of 2nd May last, on the subject of child labour in relation to the Australian Dairy Industry. Mr W. Potts, Principal of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College, says: "We look to the milking machine to displace this objectionable form of service. Its use is no longer a matter of doubt or experiment. At our college here at Hawkesbury, the L.K.G. Machines have been in daily use for the past six years. We have observed no ill effects on the cows. The saving of labour is a special feature in its work." J. B. MacEwan and Co., Ltd., Sole Agents, Forfc Street, Auckland.
