TE KUITI ITEMS.

Wellington, Thursday. The Minister of Railways has informed Mr. Jennings, M.P., that he regrets he cannot make an entrance and allow a public crossing to be made through the station yard at Te Kuiti, and adds that when the station is removed to the east side of the line, less inconvenience will be caused to the public. Arrangements heve been completed by the Public Works Department to take the site for Te Kuiti Post Office, under the Public Works' Act immediately. On gazetting same, the Postmaster General informed Mr. Jennings that tenders will be called for erection of building.
