The quarterly summoned meeting of the above Lodge was held in the Lodge Room (Congregational Church) on Thursday evening last, June 25th, N.G. Bro. Larritt presiding. The following were initiated as brethren, and duly received honours of the Order : Bros. Ornish}', Smith, Gresham, Verrall and Broadfoot. For the ensuing term the following brethren were installed in office : N.G. Bro. Larritt to G.M. ; V.G. Bro. Smith to N.G. ; Elective Secretary Bro. Hodgetts to V.G. ; Bro. Ormsby to Warden ; Bro. Snowden to Guardian ; jßro. Barker to Elective Secretary ; Supporters to N.G., Bros. Seymour and Verrall; Supporters to V.G., Bros. Gresham and Smith ; Treasurer, Bro. Barker; Auditors, Bros. Mclndoe and McColl; Trustees, Bros. Holland and Snowden ; Permanent Secretary,- Bro. MacKechnie. Reference was made by the incoming N.G. Bro. Smuh, and V.G. Bro. Hodgetts. to the very able manner in which the Past N.G. Bro. Larritt had fulfilled his duties, and the satisfactory way that he had upheld the bes} traditions of die Manchester Unity. Great enthusiasm is being shown by the Brethren in die way that they arc bringing new members forward, and if this satisfactory state of affairs ||onlina;s there is every possibility of Hie Lodge.being able to build their hall, which we feel certain every would like to see. H»lr Darrow's offer of a piece of for the Lodge to build upon was HFt over till next Lodge night, July pth, when every Brother is requested to attend. I The Brethren have decided to hold ran Oddfellows' Ball as soon as the J new hall is opened.
