WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.

With the near approach of the second annual Winter Show, which opens at (Hamilton on July 9th, interest in the function increases. Strenuous efforts have been made by the executive to render the Show thoroughly representative of the district, and it is gratifying to learn that there is every reason to predict a brilliant and unqualified success as a result. Special arrangements are being made to cope with the extra traffic during Show week,land visitors can rely upon attending the 'function and returning with every degree of comfort. Mr T. Waite, District Traffic Manager of Railways, forwarded the proposed train service in connection with the Show, from which it will be seen excellent provision has been made for the carriage of the great number of visitors who are bound to foregather at Hamilton. The arrangements are as follows : Thursday, July 9th : A train will leave for Paeroa and Putaruru at 5 p.m. ; the 6.30 a.m. train from Te Kuiti to Frankton, will run on to Hamilton, arriving at 9.55 a.m.; the 3.45 p.m. train from Frankton to Te Kuiti will not run ; but a special train will leave Hamilton for Te Kuiti at 5.10 p.m.; special trains will leave for Cambridge at 5.30 p.m., and 10.10 p.m., and from Cambridge at 6.30 p.m. ; a goods train, with passenger accommodation, will leave for Auckland at 4.30 p.m. Saturday, July nth.: A train will leave for Thames and Putaruru at 5 p.m.; the 6.30 a.m. train from Te Kuiti will run on to Hamilton, arriving at 9.55 a.m. ; a special train will leave for Te Kuiti at 5.10 p.m.; the 8.15 p.m. train from Cambridge will not run ; a special train will leave Cambridge at 6.30 p.m., returning at 10.S p.m. ; a train will leave for Auckland at 4.30 p.m. Excursion tickets will be issued from any station 3o Hamilton on 7th, Bth, 9th, and 10th July, available for return up to 13th July.
