NOTICE is° hereby given that it is the intention of the Waitomo County Council, under the provisions of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and amendments, TO BORROW the sum of £2OOO, for the purpose of draining, constructing culverts, forming and metalling streets and footpaths, within the Te Kuiti Township Special Rating Area, and as security for the payment of interest and other charges on the said Loan, to make and levy a Special Rate of Three Half-pence in the Pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said Te Kuiti Township Special Rating Area, and it is the intention to pay out of Loan the cost of raising same and the first year's interest thereon. The Loan is for a period of 32 years, and the interest to be paid at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum. THE boundaries of the Special Rating District are as follows : Commencing on the western bank of the Mangaokewa stream at its intersection with the western boundary of the railway (at railway bridge), thence southerly along the west boundary of rail-, way to its intersection with the north-west boundary of Te Kuiti Native Township, thence westward, southward, and eastward along the boundaries of said Te Kuiti Native Township to the western bank of the Mangaokewa stream, opposite the railwaj r crossing at the south end of the 'Jfe Kuiti Railway Station, thence by the western bank of the Mangaokeiia stream jto the pojnt of commencement at railway bridge.
