In nominating for event No, 8, the name of mate must be mentioned. Nominations must be accompanied by cash and last two years' performances, if none, all previous. No competitor may trim or mark his block with axe.

All protests to be lodged within 10 minutes after race, accompanied with ss, which will be forfeited if protest be deemed frivolous. Decision of Stewards to be final.
