Notice of Intention to take Land for a Road through Section 8, Block VII, Awakino North Survey District, Awakino County. "VfOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of " The Public Works Act, 1905," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through Section 8, Block vn, Awakino North Survey District, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said road and of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Awakino, and is there open for inspecflon. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.

VfOTICE is hereby given that at a ii Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, held at Te Kuiti on the 20th day of January, 1908, it was resolved by the Waitomo C™ntv to Gpecw Sanitary By-Law, under and by virtue of the provisions of " The Counties Act, 1886," and its Amendments, " The Public Health Act, 1900" and its Amendments, and all other Acts and Powers whatsoever enabling it op that behalf. The object and purport of such by-law is as follows To provide, in the interests of Public Health, for the Sanitary regulation of Townships and other congested areas within the Waitomo County. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held at Te Kuiti on the 24th day of February, 1908, at 11 a.m., in Mr Kerr's Commercial Room. A copy of the above Special Order and By-Law is deposited at the office of the Council, at Otorohanga, where the same may be inspected during office hours until such confirmatory meeting is held.
