Doctor Zobel, of Weber, Hawke's Bay, has been engaged by the Te Kuiti District Medical Fund Committee'as 'medical for the district. ' The doctor arrived' at Te Kuiti on Monday forenoon last, having journeyed overland from Hawke's Bay. The Tauinarunui Brass Band has got into full swing, and gave the initial open air performance on Sunday iast, when a collection in aid of the band'fiin'd realised the sitni of £3 10s.
