PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Waitomo County Council at a Special Meeting, to be held in the County Office, at Otorohanga, on Wednesday, the 27th day of November, 1907, to make a general rate under the provisions contained in Section 148 of the " Counties Act, 1886," and under the provisions of Sections 37 and 44 of the " Rating Act, 1894," of six farthings in the pound on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property shown on the Valuation Rolls of the several Ridings of Waitomo, Te Rau-a-moa, Otorohanga, Hangatiki, Mairoa, Paemako, Te Kuiti and Ohura, Waitomo County, for the year ending at ■3lst March, 1908.
