" The prescnl Post-office is totally inadequate for the requirement sol the place and a disgrace to Hie Department, and this meeting strongly urges the Postmaster-* icneral to proceed with the erection of a suitable building at the earliest moment," was the resolution, passed unanimously at a public meeting held at Te Kuiti on Wednesday evening,. Mr Boddie, in moving the resolution, stated that he had seen many small and mean lool; ing Po'J-oiiiees !>ii! It was decided to forward copies of the resolution to the Postmaster(icneral and! Ihe Member for the da - trict, coupled with a request to Mr Jennings to ask the question in the J louse as to 'when it was proposed to erect a building. N
