OBITUARY.
It is wilh regret we have (o chronicle the death of Miss Vera Baker, which took place at IV Kami, near Tc Knili, on Thursday evening of last week, The deceased was only twentyfour years of age, and had previously been an inmate of the Cambridge Sanatorium, hut had been discharged from that institution some months ago as curul, and after a short sojourn in Auckland came to I t Kutm, to reside with her mother. l\li - although ])cin;',' in a pool tad *■ healtli for months past, was only in bed ten days when she expired, the cause oi' death being consumption.
