FOOTBALL.
Mam&pQ-fo Fcotbili Team ia Rbiorua. On account of the very wet weather last week the arrangements for the representative team to leave for Rotorua were quite upset through several of the original team not being able to arrive at Te Kuiti in time to leave for the Thermal Region on Friday morning. However, a team was got together, and with Mr G. Elliott as manager, arrived at their destination on Friday evening safe' and sound, and far away from the land of prohibition. On arrival at Rotorua the team was met by the President and Secretary of the Rotorua Union, and after a formal welcome, were taken to Thirwell House where, during" their stay, they were well cared for by Mr Woolliams and a very efficient staff. On Saturday morning a visit was made to Whakarewarewa, and after seeing all the sights the team returned to lunch and to prepare for the afternoon's contest.
