VAL VOUSDEN.

No doubt our readers will be pleased to know that Mr Val Vousden, the celebrated Irish Society Entertainer, will give his delightful and clever entertainment, entitled " Two Hours of Hearty Laughter," at the Te Kuiti hall, next Monday evening, August 26th. He is now making his third tour of the British Empire, and his popularity is greater than ever. Mr Vousden's season of ten nights in Wellington, where he appeared to large and enthusiastic audiences, constitutes a record for any monologue entertainer in New Zealand. Mr Vousden imitates animals, birds and musical instruments, and in fact can imitate anything on earth capable of producing sound. He will also introduce to the audience his celebrated sketch " Mrs O'Rourke." His performances are highly amusing and free from the least tinge of vulgarity. It is safe to predict that a large audience will greet this clever artist.
