TE KUITI POLICE COURT.

A short sit tins of the Police Court was held at Te Kuiti on Friday last, before Messrs J. Tammadge and F. H. Sims, Justices.. - A Maori named Iwa was brought up on remand and charged with stealing a horse and saddle, to the value of about £l7, the property of Alexander Moir, of Mahoenui. Further charges of theft of a suit of clothing and of £l, were also preferred against the accused, who pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
