ELTON COMEDY COMPANY.

The Elton Comedy Company were fortunate in securing such dates as May 24th and 25th to appear at Te Kuiti, and were rewarded by having excellent houses to play to. The programme, which was of a highly varied order, was admirably adapted for a mixed country audience and was thoroughly appreciated. On the opening night the well-known comedy, " Why Jones Left Home," was the chief attraction, each member of the company being seen to advantage. On the second night there was a complete change of programme, several new features being introduced, including some extremely clever sleight of hand tricks by Mr Meymott. On Sunday night the members of the company gave a sacred concert which was well patronised.
