OTOROHANGA.

Two accidents have happened here during the p?st week. A young man, named William Webb, was struck in the nose and face by a piece of wood thrown by a circular saw, and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. On Saturday morning last, one of the local footballers, L. Law, was struck in the leg nevs the knee by an axe which flew out of the hand of a Native working near him. He rode about fcr.r milt s from Ellis and Burnand's bush, losing a large quantity of blood on the way, and was taken to the hospital almost in a state of collapse.
