THE SPARROW CLUB.
TO THE EDITOR. • Sir, —I don't know whether you are in the know about the formation of the above club, but it is a fact, as I have it on excellent authority, that such a club was formed in Te Kuiti on a recent Saturday evening, and I should like to know something more about it. Don't take me for a sparrow hunter, Mr Editor, because I am not, but J. think a certain amount o' fun, as well as good, might accrue from such an institution, and with this object I ask for information. I have noticed, during my walks abroad lately, several dead sparrows; perhaps they were aware of the club having been formed and have died from fright, rather than take the risk of being shot at by one who has lost the sight of his right eye. However, tell me something more about. it. —I am, etc., SKYLARK.
