Distance l% miles, over 6 flights of hurdles; lost minimum. Nomination 7s, acceptance 3s. 2. Maiden Race of 4sovs., 15s from stake for second horse. Six furlongs. For all horses that have never won a race; 9st minimum. Nomination ss. 3. Pony Race of 4sovs., 15s from stake for'second horse./ Six furlongs, Nomination 4s, acceptance 2s. Minimum gst. 4. Ohura Jockey Club Handicap of lOsovs., second horse to receive 30s from stake ; 1% miles ; Bst 7lb minimum. Nomination 10s, acceptance ss. 5. Settlers' Handicap of ssovs., 20s from stake for second horse; 1 mile. All "horses to be the bona fide property of a settler within a radius of 10 miles of Ohura P. 0., and in the district three months prior to meeting; 9st minimum. Nomination ss, acceptance 2s 6d. 6. Trotting Handicap of 4sovs., second horse to receive 15s from stake. Two miles; list minimum. Nomination 4s, acceptance 2s. 7. Ladies' Bracelet, value 4 guineas, second horse to receive Brooch valued at I guinea. One mile. All horses to be nominated by Lady, and to be the bona fide property of a settler within a 10 mile radius of Ohura P. 0., and in the district three months prior to meeting. Minimum weight 9 stone. Nomination S S » acceptance 2s 6d. 8. Forced Handicap of £2 10s, second horse to receive 10s from stake. Six furlongs. For all beaten horses. Minimum weight 9st. Acceptance ss, Conditions : Nominations close with the Secretary at Ohura P.O. on Feb. 22nd at 8 p.m. Acceptances close on March Bth. Weights will appear in the Chronicle on Feb. 28th. All nominations to be accompanied with fees, age, pedigree, colours of jockey and last two years' performances, if none the last three performances. Ponies will be measured on Toe Toe Bridge at 10 a.m. on morning of races. First race at II a.m. sharp. Stewards decision in all cases to be final. All prizes paid at 9 p.m. on night of races. Five per cent, deducted from all winners All protests to be lodged within 10 minutes after race accompanied with 10s, which will be forfeited if protest be deemed frivolous.
