MATIERE.

Mr Allen Bell addressed a meeting of settlers at Matiere on Friday last, on behalf of the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company. The address was on similar lines to that delivered at Te Kyiti, and reported in the Chronicle. Mr Bell stated that they had already received sufficient support to warrant them forming the Company, the business being taken pver from the Ist of the present month, the first sale ynder_ the new Company heing held at Waihou. At the conclusion a vote of thanks to the speaker and confidence in the Company was carried unanimously. All present then enrolled themselves on the share list.
