NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, held at Te Kuiti on 19th day of November, 1906, it was resolved by way of Special Order that the Waitomo County Council make a by-law, under the provisions of the Counties Act, 1894, the object and purport of which by-laws are as follows : \ "To regulate heavy traffic over roads and bridges ; also, regulate the movement? of and licensing of traction engines and vehicles plying for hire, licensing of Pedlars and Hawkers and Billiard Rooms, and penalties for breaches of the By-laws." The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held at Te Kuiti. on the 14th day of January, 1907, at II a.m., in Mr Ernest Kerr's Commercial Room, at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-laws will be fixed. A copy of the Special Order and By-laws is deposited at the Office of the Council at Otorohanga, where the same will lie open for public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held.
