Acceptances for Nos. 2,3 and 14 close on Tuesday, January, 22nd, 1907. Handicaps will be declared in time for publication in CHRONICLE, Waikato and Taumarunui papers on January 17th, 1907. All entries to be accompanied by entrance fees and last two year's correct performances. Three to start or no race, four to start or no second money. All protests to be lodged within 10 minutes of finish of event, with a deposit of los, which will be forfeited if the protest be deemed frivolous. The decision of Committee to be final. F 'ROM Friday, 21st December, to Thursday, 10th January, inclusive, an extra express train will leave Auckland at 10.35 a.m. During the same period the afternoon train (Frankton to Taumarunui) will not leave Frankton till 2.30 p.m. (after arrival of 10.35 a.m. extra express from Auckland) and will run correspondingly later to destination. On Saturday, 22nd December, a special train will leave Taumarunui at 6.45 a.m„ Ongarue 7.30 a.m., Porootarao 8.15. a.m., Te Kuiti 9.15 a.m., Te Awamutu 10.35 a.m., arriving Auckland 3.48 p.m. This train will only stop at; the stations named.
