. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports as follows : On Wednesday and Thursday last we held our annual horse fair at Hamilton, and during the two days offered 387 broken draughts and light sorts, and 50 draughts and light colts unbroken. There was a large attendance apd spirited bidding for draughts of (any class, also for useful, strong harness sorts and upstanding hacks, and we report one of the most successful sales we have yet held in Hamilton.. Unbroken medium draughts, from £2B to £36 ; unbroken light harness and hack sorts, £l2 to £lB ; light colts, £3 lOs to £8 ; yearling draughts, £ll lOs to £ls ; broken draughts, £35 to £47 lOs, medium draughts, £23 to £32 ; aged draughts, £l2 to £l7 lOs ; upstanding hacks, £22 lOs to £35; light hacks, £lO to £l6 ; strong harness sorts, £lO lOs to £lB ; good cobs, £8 to £l4 ; good ponies, £5 5s to £lO ; weeds, £l lOs to £3 lOs pair chestnut mares, £4l; pair chestnut geldings, £B4.
