OBITUARY.

A sr.d event in the history of Paemaks occurred on Sunday last, when Mrs A. Sundviok, daughter of Mr and Mrs Sincock, died in giving birth to her first child. The occurrence came as a shock to all, and much sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents and husband, who are widely respected in the district. The funeral took place on Wednesday, the body being brought to Te Kuili for interment, in Mr Hattawav's waggon. A large number ol friends attended the funeral, and the Kcv. S. Spencer officiated at the grave.
