Messrs McNicol and Co. report as follows:—, ' At Te Kuiti on Wednesday we yarded 66l head of cattle, the majority of which were in good condition. Buyers were present from the different districts. Competition was brisk, and practically every lot was disposed of at auction. Rough 3-jsear-old steers £4 10s ; well-bred 2-year-old steers £3 15s to £4; 18-months to 2-year-old steers £3 5s to £3 I2s 6d; 15-months-old steera £2 I2s 6d to £3; good yearling steers £2 to £2 6s dd; choice yearling heifers 34s 6d; mixed yearlings 30s to 355; very choice 2 to 3-year-old empty heifers £2 12s to £3 3s; 313 two-tooth wethers 14s; 65 two-tooth ewes 15s; 5P aged ewes with lambs 9s 5 all counted. We hold our nejct Te Kuiti sale on Feb. 20th.
