TE KUITI POLICE COURT.

♦ — : Monday, December 3rd. (Before Mr J. Tammadge, J. P.) Henry Adams was charged with using violence in a railway carriage between Otorohanga and Te Kuiti. Accused pleaded guilty, but stated that he only committed the offence under great provocation; another man who was serving a sentence for t}ie same offence, had been the aggressor. Fined 20s and costs £1 lis, a fortnight being allowed in which to pay the money.
