The Vanderbilt Cup Motor Race.
TWO PERSONS KILLED. New York, Oct. 8. Two hundred thousand spectators witnessed the Vanderbilt Cup motor race at Long Island. Wagner, of France, in a 100-h.p. Darracqu car, won, covering 297 miles in Ihours 50secs. The spectators surged over the course and two were killed. Another competitor, Weilschott. lost control of his car and plunged over an embankment and through a fence. Weilschott and twenty spectators were injured.
