Addington Market.
Christchurch, Thursday Messrs Pyne & Co. report on Wednesday’s market as follows: Fair entry of fat sheep at Addington today. Good demand tor really prime quantity. Other sorts as usual dull. Prime heavy wethers 18/- to 21/6; freezers 14/6 to 17/6 ; prime heavy ewes 15/- to 18/- ; meuium 12/6 to 15/- ; lighter sorts 8/6 to 11/- ; merino wethers 8/6 to 12/6: unfinished wethers 11/- to 13/-. Very small entry of lat lambs of indifferent quality. Large entry of store sheep, chiefly ewes in lamb and others. Ewes in lamb young and good sorts 10/6 to 12/10. Others dull of sale, in fact the store sheep sale was dull ail through. Forward wethers made 10/6 to 13/2 ; Hoggets 6/- to 8/3. Large entry of pigs and market slightly easier than last week. Smail entry of fat cattle, with good sale up to 22/- per 1001 b. Store cattle dull as usual.
