Sunday School Treat.

The Presbyterian Sunday Scboof Treat took place on Saturday, at Mr John Wallace’s paddock, Sea View, Mt. Fyffe. Notwithstanding the fact that the postponement from Thursday to Saturday prevented a number of people from attending, chiefly Town residents, there was a considerable attendance, the receipts being very little less than usual. The children were driven to the ground in waggons by Messrs E. Schroder. P. Donnelly aod A. Mclnnes, The teachers were largely assisted by the Messrs Bassett in entertaining the children on the ground. Good things for the creature comfort of all were provided in abundance and heartily appreciated. Before leaving the ground cheers were given for Mr Wallace, the Rev. Mr McAra, the Sundya School Teachers, those who provided the refreshments and the drivers. The tea was proceeded by a hymn of thankfulness for mercies vouchsafed.
