Government Appointments

The Hon Mr Cadman has agreed to accept the portfolio of Minister for Railways. Mr Ronayne is to be General Manager, while Mr McKerrow retires from the Railway to become Land Purchase Inspector under Native Land Acquisition and Lands for Settlement Acts. Mr J. L. Mr T. K. Macdonald has been appointed one of the two North Island Valuers under the Advances to Settlers Act ; salary £5OO per annum.
