LONDON, Dec 14 Remains of late Sir J. S, D. Thompson, Premier of Canada, in being conveyed from Windsor Castle to railway station en route to Canada, were accorded semi-State funeral.
Queen sent a splendid laurel wreath, to which was attached autograph card expresssing her sorrow at death of esteemed statesman.
Deceased willjbe buried at Halifax, and will be given State funeral.
Times says there is no one in the Canadian Legislature able to’command the same amount of confidence as the deceased.
