RESOLUTION. —That the Kaikoura River Board intends to make a General Kate of One Farthing (-jd) in the Pound (£) on Saturday, the Ist day December, 1894, in accordance with the provisions of the ‘Rating Act, 1882 ’ and the amendments thereof, upon the rateable properties as appearing upon the Valuation Roll now in force in the River Board District for the year commencing upon the First Day of April; 1894, and ending upon the Thirty - first day of March, 1895, payable in one sum between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 pm. on Saturday, the 29th day of December, 1894, at the River Board Office, where the Rate Book will be open for inspection on and after November 7.
