In making this announcement the Company embraces the opportunity of acknowledging with gratitude the staunch support accorded to it by many old clients, and the forebearance displayed by several others throughout the long months of waiting whilst its affairs were in suspense. Attention is specially directed to Clause 3, Section 6, in the Memorandum of Association, reading as follows :—‘ To sell or otherwise deal with on commission, any live and dead Stock, Wool or other Pastoral, Farm, or Agricultural Produce, or any Merchandise or other property of any description, upon any terms as to remuneration or otherwise that may seem expedient, and particularly upon terms whereby the property in question and the net proceeds or balance of the net proceeds of any sale thereof, or other dealings therewith, or any property representing the same, are to be held by the Company as trustees for the special account and on the special behalf of the principals, and are not, except to the extent of the Company’s beneficial interests therein, if any, to be in any way subject to any obligations, debts, or other liabilities of the Company.’ By this clause, which cannot be abrogated, the proceeds of all consignments, whether of Stock or Produce, are absolutely guaranteed. Such business is to be done simply in trust. Consignors need not therefore have the slightest anxiety with respect to thek consignments of whatever nature. E. 8. HARLEY, Manager.
