Information Sought.
Str, —I should like to know how it is that the Kaikoura County Council spends, say, £2O in making a bit of road to save going through the sand, and afterward Claverly station fences off nearly half a mile of laid off road in front of Boat Harbour and lieserve, throwing all traffic on the sand ? And how is it that the Boat Harbour Reserve is not offered to the public as well as other Reserves which are let' I am, etc., Richard Monk. Conway Flat, July 23rd, 1894.
