Addington Market.

CHKISTUHURCH, Thursday Messrs Pyne & Co. report on Wednesday’s market as follows : There was a full market of fat sheep. Heavyweight crossbred wethers made I6s to 17s 9d ; prime freezers 14s Gd to 15s Gd ; lighter weights 13s 6d to 14s 3d ; crossbred ewes 10s to 13s, and up io IGs for an extra prime lot of 6-tooth ewes. In merino wethers there was a large entry, which sold at from 6s 9d to 9s 5d ; merino ewes from 6s to 8s Fat cattle.—There was a smaller entry than last week, with prices a trifle easier. Best steers made £8 to £9 17s Gd ; lighter weights, steers and heifers, £G to £7 17s 6d ; fat cows £G 10s to £B. In store and dairy cattle there were small entries, and but little business doing.
