SYDNEY, July 25 Farmers Conference passed resolution to effect that pending creation of a S«ate Bank, it is rtesireable to estu 1 T-U Credit Foncier for purpose of lending money io farmers at low rate of interest. Cabinet decided to take verdict ol House as towhotr.er it shall continue in office. Expected Parliament will meet on 7th August. Creation of new batch of. Legislative Councillors is on the tapis. July 26 Morning Herald, while stating that the N. Z. Financial Statement wcouleur de rose, commends the good example set in expending money on public works from surplus revenue.
