The Age publishes a lengthy article in review of legislative history of N. Z., which it states may be summarised under the head of three years’ advanced Liberalism and results. The article speaks in unstinted praise of late Premier Ballance and Seddon, and commends adoption of minimum wage for cooperation in connection with public works. With exception of brief reference, the article expresses no opinion of the policy as regards Bank of New Zealand.
