NOTICE TO GORRESPODENTS We ivite correspondence on all matter tending io promote the welfare of districr and on subjects of general interest. Out columnsbeing freely open for the ventilation and discussion of all questions on jTiblic interest, with the exception oi Geological subjects. All we exact is that correspondence shall be truthful and temperate; entirely free from all offensive personalties. Letters for publication must in all casee hear the signature of the writer, not necessarily for pubheation, but as a guarantee of good faith. We shall always endeavour to insert letters in the first issue after the receipt o: the communication, but do not guarantee their appearance in the earliest publication Letters should be written on one side oi he paper only. Letters for insertion must be addressee to the Editor, and all business communica tions to the Proprietor, Kaikoura Star Hints tn Correspondents.
