At meeting of Executive, today, it was decided that the law must bo allowed to take its course in regard to

the two men, Montgomery and Williams, under sentence of death for murderous assult on policemen in connection with attempt to rob Uninn Steam Coy’s Office. Convicts to be executed on 31st.

Betterment Bill passed final stages in Legislative Assembly by 49 to 18. Bill provides that if half the interested parties protest against proposed work it will not be carried out.

Labor Electoral League has drawn up a modified pledge which candidates will be required to take. Parliamentary party have had it under consideration and deferred decision upon it.
