Unless otherwise specified, minimum weight to be lost, and distance once round and a distance. Ail races open to horses between the Awatere and Hurunui rivers. All disputes, claims, and objections shall be settled by the Stewards, or whom they shall appoint, and their decision shall be final, and shall not be questioned in any Court of Law. No entry received except under these conditions. Nominations for Birthday Handicap and Hack Flying to be lodged with the Secretary at his office (Medical Hall), Kaikoura, by 8 p.m. on Saturday, 12th May. Handicaps declared on 15th May, acceptance by 8 p.m, on 19th May. All other events post entry. Handicap for Hack Race and Trot declared on course prior to race.
