FOOTBALL.
The season was opened yesterday. Instead of a Town v. Country match, a good practice game was the extent of the day’s meet. There was a very good turn out, some 26 kickists being on the ground, which was found to be in much better order than was anticipated. Those who were present are very pleased with the playing ground generally.
