SYDNEY, Feb 2 During last night’s sitting of the Legislative Assembly galleries were twice cleared at direction of Chairman of Committees. Point was raised as to whether the Chairman had power to order galleries to be cleared. Speaker ruled he hud no such power. ADELAIDE, Feb 2 In reply to deputation of unemployed, Premier said material would be supplied for stonebreaking, so that men might get rations for fair amount of labour at tbis class of relief work. Members of the deputation ridiculed the idea as an insult.
