Our column* being freely open for the ventilation and discussion of all questions on public interest, with the exception of theological subjects. All we exact is that correspondence ■hall be truthful and temperate; entirely free from all offensive personalties. Letters for publication must in all cases bear the signature of the writer, not necessarily for pub) : cation, but as a guarantee of good faith. We shall always endeavour to insert •g ters in the first issue after the receipt of be communication. but do not guarantee heir appearance in the earliest publication. Letters should be written on one side of the paper only.
