London, June 17. Favorable accounts are published of the state of the English wheat crops. The second clause of the Irish Land Bill was passed in Committee of the whole House of Commons to-day. The disorders in Ireland are decreasing. The authorities continue to take steps to prohibit assemblies of the people at sales and evictions. An accident happened to a boats’ crew of the turret ship Monarch, belonging to the Mediteranean Squadron, while torpedo practice was going on. One officer was killed, and several seamen injured. Several regiments of French troops have returned from Tunis. While marching through Marseilles, passing the Italian Club house, they were hissed, from the windows by some members. A large number of people on the street angrily demanded that the Italian escutcheon should be removed from the Club. Amid great disorder, the deputy Mayor of the town, ascending a ladder tore down the escutcheon with his own hands, order was then restored.
