The marriage of Miss Watt, eldest daughter of Mr John Watt, of the Camp, Guyton Street, to Mr Ren Edwards, the popular assessor of the Native Land Court, Wanganui, was celebrated on Boxing Day, at the residence of the bride's parents. The Rev. Mr Ryburn officiated. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a handsome dress of white figured lustre tiimmed with old lace. Mr T. C. Jones, Clerk of the Native Land Court, acted as best (worst) man. The relatives and friends present were subsequently entertained at the wedding breakfast by the parents of the bride, after which the bridal party left (amid showers of rice and old slip pers) by the midday train for the Wairarapa district. We wish them joy.
