[PBOS£ OFE MlJfltfG EEPOBTEB.] ENERGETIC, t Wednesday, December 5. Tho striking of the Wealth east reef in this CompaHy's ground promises to be a most important feature, and judging from the smnll amount of work done towards" proviny the rhnmrter of the iode the result so I :\v »* mn«t fuvorable, The reef lyie been driven on lor ten or twelve feet 'averaging nl out two feet of stone, this thickness ol a reef compared to the various blocks of stone previously worked would doubtless be look cd upon ns insignificant, but when it is understood that the quality of the stone exceeds anything hitherto obtained from the mine it must be considered a valuable addition to the company's property. The sample of stone which came under my notice this morning is equal to the richest evar found in this part of the Creek end appears to be very equally distributed throughout. The amount of work done at present is rather limited, and a more definite opinion car be formed in a few days. The supply of stone is being well kept up, and the battery crushing without interruption.
