COUNTY (JOUNCIL,^ "■ nrTHEREAS, the Inangahua Count* ouxcil, at a meeting held on tho st day of August, 1877, pursuant to the •owers conferred by Section 107 of the Counties ct, 1p76, and in eserci se of io same, and! of all othor powers in Itis behalf Iherai enabling, resolved that a GENERAL BATE on all Rateable Property within! the said County, for arrying into effect the general purposes f the said Actj should be made and evied in accordance with the provisions i •f the said Act, anti of " The Rating Act, i .876." And whereas, in and by the said csolution tho Council resolved that the aid Rate should be made and levied as tforcsaid for the period of one year from he day of the making and levying thereof, md should be paid in one sum, and that he amount of such rate should be the mm of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the vt lues of the Rateable Property . as appear ing in the Valuation Soil now in force in he County aforesaid. Xotico therefore is h jreby given pursuant j ;o the provisions ofi the last mentioned ict that the said Coml.il on THURSDAY, the 16th day of Aife Us t, ppw instant, intend to make and levy such Rate, and to order and direct thatlhe amount thereof shall bo the sum of dne Shilling in the Pound on the values amresaid ; that tho said Rate shall be for the period of One Year from the date of making and levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now nest ensuing.
