Tlie following particulars are published for the information of intended exhibitor? of plans. The plans and proposals will bo submined to a body of judges, composed of experienced miners, and such other persons as his Honor the Superintendent may appoint, and in considering them thu following uoints will be kept in vic»v:-^ 1. Inventors are expected to bo eonvcivant with tho machines and methods at present in use, and uot to olfcr simple reproductions of the same. They are also expected not to ofler reproductions of machines or methods which havo fallen into disuse. It, in tho opinion of the judges appointed any pluu shall appear to be worthy ot adoption by tho miners in the Province, the Government undertakes to lurnish copies of the same to each of the Mining Associations in the Province with full instructions as to inventions ol the inventors, and the payment oi the bonus will thon bo determined in tho following manner, payment being due witai.i eight months from the dato at which the copies of the plans and instructions have been issued to the vuriuua Mining Associations.
